Event Conditions

Insight Leadership (Company, we, our, us and insight-leadership.org) hosts a series of community sessions, retreats, courses, and other training services (Events), which are announced on and can be booked through our Company website (Website).

We care about the excellence of people’s experience participating in our Events and are committed to managing them in compliance with this policy (Event Conditions).

These Event Conditions should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (into which this policy is incorporated as a reference).

Event Details

Our Events are intended for everyone. Specific audiences, dates, and other details are available on the event pages of our Website.

Event Registration Process

Participants choose their Event, complete the billing details, place their order and pay or donate.

We acknowledge receipt of the registration by email.

Registrations are considered complete once we have received the payment of the registration fees or the donation (if they are making one). We acknowledge completion of the registration by email.

Registrations are processed in order of being received and completed.

Online Event Participation

Our online Events are set up for delivery using Zoom Meetings. The online Event link is communicated to the registered participants by email.

Number of Participants

Usually, the number of participants in our Events is a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 30. In some special Events, like retreats or keynote sessions the maximum number of participants may be bigger.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the Event. In this case, the amount paid will be credited or reimbursed.

Special Conditions for Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, Event fees must be paid when registering or before the start of the Event. If you need support, we are happy to support people who are unemployed, students or people who could not otherwise access our Events. We may be able to offer the opportunity to pay by installments or a discount.

Cancellation and Transfer

Any request to cancel or transfer enrollment to a later Event (if a similar Event is being offered) must be notified at least one week before the start of the Event by email to admin@flourishingcircle.org.

Cancellation fees:

  • Cancellations made more than one week from the start of the Event will be reimbursed with a deduction of €50 to cover administrative costs.
  • Cancellations made within one week of the start of the Event will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the Event fee (or €50, if this is higher).
  • Once the event has started, the registration fees remain entirely owing to the Company.

In justified cases (e.g., medical reasons), participants may be offered the possibility to move their booking to a later Event or to substitute another person to take their place.

These conditions will be agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.

VAT

Generally, VAT does not apply for our Events provided from Switzerland. Specific tax conditions may apply for in-company Services.

Behaviour

We are committed to co-creating open, respectful, inclusive and kind spaces. Any participant who, despite a warning, continues to disturb with inappropriate or disrespectful behavior may be excluded from the Event and forbidden to participate in further Events.

Certificate of Attendance

Participants completing a training Event can request a certificate of attendance in the feedback form. A certificate will then be issued to the participant.

Special Conditions

No change of the present Event Conditions shall be made without the prior agreement and written consent of the Company.

Agreement

Please read this Event Conditions carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding our Events.

By registering to our Events and providing your data, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Event Conditions and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with these Event Conditions please do not register for our Events.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Any litigation arising from the application or interpretation of this Event Conditions will be subject to Swiss law and heard by the tribunal of the Canton of Vaud before which the parties will expressly defer their rights to their natural place of jurisdiction, whatever their current or future address or office. In case of conflict, mediation is to be privileged.

Changes to this Policy

We may amend these Event Conditions without prior notice at any time. The version published on our Website is the version currently applicable. If we make any changes to these Event Conditions, they will be posted on this page. You can get to this page from our Website by clicking on the Event Conditions link. We will always date these changes, so you know if you are looking at a changed version.
